Day 1: Welcome to Ahmedabad

Arrive in Ahmedabad, where our representative will assist you at the airport and escort you to your luxurious hotel. If you wish, explore the city's rich heritage, from the tranquil Sabarmati Ashram to the intricate Adalaj Stepwell. Unwind for the night; your grand wildlife adventure begins soon!

Day 2-3: Velavadar National Park – Land of the Blackbucks

After a leisurely breakfast check out from your hotel in Ahmedabad and drive to Velavadar National Park, where Gujarat’s golden grasslands come alive with the elegance of blackbucks, the stealth of Indian wolves, and the elusive presence of striped hyenas.

Reach and check in at beautiful Blackbuck Jungle Lodge. While the evening will be free at leisure, next day will be used to enjoy morning and afternoon jeep safaris inside the park.

The thrill begins as your open-jeep safari rolls into this vast savannah, where blackbucks bound effortlessly across the horizon, their spiraled horns cutting through the breeze. The afternoon brings a feast of authentic Gujarati flavors, paired with insights from a seasoned forest officer on the region’s rich biodiversity. As the sun sets, casting a golden glow over the landscape, the call of harriers and the distant silhouettes of Nilgai remind you—this is the wild, in its purest form.

Day 4-5: Sasan Gir – Home of the Asiatic Lions

Next in our wild expedition, we journey to Gir National Park, the last stronghold of the majestic Asiatic Lion. After a scenic drive through Gujarat’s rugged Saurashtra region, arrive in Sasan, ready to explore this legendary forest. Over multiple safaris, we traverse different terrains, encountering Chitals, Sambars, and soaring Hawk Eagles.

The following day brings an exhilarating sight, a pride of young lions lounging by a waterhole, exuding raw, untamed energy. Beyond the big cats, Gir’s wilderness reveals crocodiles basking on riverbanks, owls camouflaged in ancient trees, and parakeets adding bursts of color to the landscape. Here, every moment is a reminder that the wild still reigns supreme.

Day 6-7: Jamnagar – Birdwatcher’s Paradise (Khijadiya Bird Sanctuary)

After breakfast, drive to Jamnagar, a hidden paradise for bird lovers. On arrival check in at your hotel for an overnight stay. Next day take an excursion to the Khijadiya Bird Sanctuary, where freshwater meets saltwater, thousands of migratory birds—flamingos, pelicans, and rare raptors—create a spectacle unlike any other. Walking through its serene trails, you’ll witness nature’s quiet grandeur, with over 220 bird species thriving in this Ramsar-listed wetland. Beyond the sanctuary, the Gulf of Kutch’s coastal habitats offer glimpses of marine and wetland birds, while the city itself unveils layers of history. From the island fort of Lakhota Palace to the intriguing Bhujiyo Kotho, Jamnagar blends rich heritage with breathtaking natural beauty.

Day 8-9: Little Rann of Kutch - Moti Virani

Next, we proceed to the Little Rann of Kutch, an otherworldly salt desert and the last refuge of the endangered Indian wild ass, known locally as Ghudkhar. A thrilling jeep safari takes us across this vast, cracked terrain, where we witness these remarkable creatures in their element, some lazily basking in the sun, others galloping through the golden dust. Along the way, flocks of flamingos wade gracefully in the marshes, while Nilgais, Short-eared Owls, Pelicans, Spoonbills, and Serpent Eagles make for an unforgettable spectacle. The day ends with a visit to nearby villages, where the vibrant handicrafts of Kutch come to life—exquisite embroidery, handwoven textiles, and pottery, each telling a story of the land’s rich cultural heritage.

The next stop takes us to Moti Virani, a paradise for birdwatchers and home to the renowned CEDO (Centre for Desert and Ocean). At the edge of the Banni Grasslands, this region is a treasure trove of rare bird species, from raptors and shrikes to migratory waders and sandgrouse. Under the guidance of expert naturalists, we explore this unique ecosystem, where the arid desert meets seasonal wetlands, creating a haven for biodiversity.

Day 10-11: Bhuj:

Drive further to Bhuj. On arrival check in at your hotel.

During the stay take a guided tour of Bhuj city. Explore the Prag Mahal, a grand 19th-century palace with European Gothic architecture, and the dazzling Aina Mahal, adorned with intricate mirror work. Wander through vibrant bazaars filled with Bandhani textiles, Rogan art, and handcrafted embroidery, before savoring an authentic Kutchi thali for lunch.

Explore the royal cenotaphs, the serene Sharad Baug Palace, and the magnificent Swaminarayan Temple, a marble marvel of craftsmanship. After a leisurely lunch, indulge in last-minute shopping at Danda Bazaar, where intricate handicrafts and vibrant textiles make for perfect souvenirs.

Day 12: Departure from Bhuj

After a relaxed morning, you will be transferred to the airport to board the flight to Delhi.
